Land Rover Defender V8 Revealed for 2022

The much-anticipated Land Rover Defender V8 lived up to all of the hopes car enthusiasts had. It has even given buyers a choice. You can choose from a high-powered SUV with either 4 or 2 doors.The special edition is for customers who want an even more personalised appearance in their Land Rover Defender.Lifting the bonnet, you’ll be greeted with a 5.0L supercharged V8, which makes a considerable518bhp and 461 pound-feet of torque.

It also runs on an 8-speed automatic gearbox.With a top speed of 149mph and 0-60 in 4.9, the Land Rover Defender has a lot of power.With all of the power, there are some additions to help control power. The electronic rear differential gains a yaw controller for improved cornering. As well as large-diameter anti-roll bars for reduced body roll.The new Dynamic driving setting for the Terrain Response system leads to a sharpened throttle and stiffens the suspension too.

One of the unique features of the Defender V8 is the Xenon Blue front brake callipers. The 22-inch and quad exhaust pipes also give the Defender V8 a unique look.Not only that, but the Defender V8 gets a special badging. They are ensuring that it stands apart from the rest of the line.In terms of the body, the Land Rover Defender V8 comes in Yulong White, Santorini Black and Carpathian Grey.

The interior is just as luxurious as the inside, with Ebony Windsor Leather and upholstered with Miko Suedecloth. Robustec accents and Alcntat covers on the steering wheel just add to the high-end feel of this vehicle.The Carpathia Edition is an optional upgrade. It includes a Carpathian Grey body and skid pans. Not only that, but a Narvik Black covers on the tailgate, roof, and hood. As well as a protective film with a semi-matte finish as added to protection to the exterior. This will reduce the chance of scratches from off-roading or everyday wear and tear.

2022 has more modifications like a Pivi Pro infotainment system. An optional upgrade is an 11.4-inch screen. The standard screen is a 10.0-inch display.The Pivi Pro’s navigation is new and improved and uses a self-learning method that gives you the best routes all the time. It also knows when to cancel voice commands, like when the driver is in a familiar area.Over-the-air updates keep the routing and mapping information up to date.One of the standard features that drivers can enjoy is wireless device charging and integrated mobile signal boosting.Something that is obvious is that the Land Rover Defender V8 is the perfect balance between luxurious and sporty.

The Chief Product engineer at JLR, David Hemming, says that the Defender V8 “represents the pinnacle of the Defender family, and is as rewarding on the road as it is capable off it”.While the V8 is the big, bold and beautiful model released for 2022, the XS is also an exciting release.The Land Rover Defender 2022 will arrive in the summer and is available in the Defender 90 and Defender 110 models.
